
Is the help of real property department to obtain the refunds from escrow companies?
I bought a property last year and recently received tax bills for 2007. The escrow company raised my hand and sellers which is equivalent to about 4200, but has not been paid in the county. The amount included the penalty is almost $ 4700. I did not return calls from the escrow company. No trusted third party in California has the obligation? What is the quickest and courts next to the claims to get a refund?
Taxes on real estate paid in arrears. That in 2008 2007 taxes are paid. Have you contacted the escrow company and provide copies of bills and asked why no paid with the proceeds? This is the first step. It was a title company, or who has the money?
