Thinking about becoming a realtor, is this a good idea?
I am thinking about getting into real estate in one of the very upscale neighborhoods in southern california. Example: laguna beach, malibu, beverly hills etc. I am very good at sales and good with people. I also have a good resume and 2 years as a top producer in mortgage sales. I am looking for a long term career and ready to work my butt off. I understand it takes time to start making money and I have a lot saved up to start. I am 26 which might be a disadvantage in that type of upscale market. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I have a 05 mercedes c230. Do you think that will do or is it to small. Should I buy a upscale suv?

In order to get an RE license you have to take a 60 hour RE course and pass the test in your state. If you do go this route, make sure you have 6 months of living expenses saved up. That way if it takes you awhile to make a sale, you won't starve in the meantime. Good luck.
